Jerusalem is located in the biblical land of the Judean mountains surrounded by hills, its one of the oldest cities under The Western wall at the Passover festivitythe sun, and is Holy land for the Jewish, Muslims and Christians all around the world. With sites of great religious importance in less that 1 square kilometer, like the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Western Wall, and the Al-Aqsa mosque, it has also become the center of a dispute that has affected the whole planet.

Jerusalem is now a modern thriving city and capital of the State of Israel, although most foreign embassies are located in Tel Aviv. The area with more than 5000 years of history it has seen the rules of the kings of Israel, the Romans, Arabs and Ottomans and it has been under a British mandate.

Today the City represents the division between Israelis and Palestinians over the land that goes from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean sea, in which the City is divided in the west for Israel and the East for the Palestinians. The Modern city is host for the Israeli parliament (Knesset), the Israel museum, Yad Vashem museum reminding of the Nazi holocaust, and Mt Erzel. Its mandatory for all buildings to use the same stone, that is named after the city.

The Old city of Jerusalem is a piece of history itself and it was declared a World Heritage site. It has four quarters, the Armenian, Jewish, Muslim and the Christian, and between the walls it once stood the first and second Jewish temples, Christ was condemned to the cross, the crusaders invaded, and the Romans siege it with fierce determination that ended with the destruction of the city and temple as narrated by Flavio Josefo. Leaving behind the blood that had been wasted in this mountains its a highly recommended place to visit, it has an energy hard to explain and it will assure the visitor a trip to the past, with significant places as the birthplace of virgin Mary, the tomb of King David, the mark of the white horse in which the prophet Muhammad ascended to the skies.
