Tips Chilean busses are a great way to move around, but as the country stretches from south to north the distances between cities can be astonishingly big. Check for the national airline, LAN, they have offices in most cities and tickets are actually cheaper than on the internet when you book them through the agencies official sales point

Food
Most of Chilean food is, no surprise, based on fish. with the whole western border facing the pacific ocean traditional dishes are Ceviche, Picante de Mariscos and Shrimp soup. Ceviche Recipe: Ceviche is
marinated fish. With that mix marinate the raw fish for about 10 minutes and serve. Usually served with sweet potatoes, corn and red onions chopped on the top. |
