  Country Highlights

There are many things to do in the UK. Visiting the north, the south, Wales, Scotland, London... I didn't had time for all and sadly i was left only with the latter. Prices are expensive so be ware not to spend your budget in a couple of days.

  What to Do

Museum lovers delight, they are all free in London. I spent many time in the British museum and as the Louvre in Paris or the MET in New York, there is no limit for the amount of time you can spend, still you will never see it all.
The Tate Modern museum is a very good way to spend a day, with a very beautiful location, a superb view and excellent masterpieces in display its also a world class museum.

A stroll trough the park on the way to the Buckingham palace is a cheap way to spend the time and enjoy at the same time. Don't Miss the Piccadilly circus or the Big Ben and the House of representatives.

For Beatles lovers the Abbey road studios is a must. Although there is nothing really there its a nice way.
Noting hills and the Camden market are also good ideas for a sunny day in London, where you can walk along punks and tourist and shop useless cheap things and clothes.

  Travel Tips

Food In London is generally either bad or expensive. When you finally get tired of fish and chips you can just go to a Chinese take out or buy food in the supermarket. its better than paying 12 pounds for a meal of dry chicken with mashed potatoes and cold gravy...

Transportation in the tube its quite expensive as well, buy a rechargeable card which makes a discount in the fares you pay each time, don't buy a one way ticket each time. You can get a refund for the card later on or keep it as a souvenir

  Food

Food in England is pretty bad, or at least its not a traditional food place.. An english breakfast consist of coffee, beans, sausage, bacon with fried eggs and a muffin with butter... thats five thousand calories more than needed for 7AM!

Although not everithing is bad, here something that I trully loved:

Fish and chips
You'll need lots of oil, eggs, flour, white fish and some potatoes.
Peel and cut the potatoes, fry them. While on that break 2 eggs and mix with 3/4 cup of flour until a thick dough is formed. Put salt, pepper and spices if you with and add the fish previously cutted in small pieces. Deep fry and.... voila! Typical British junk food!
