Thailand is truly the land of smiles. While there you might think that all Thais are living in complete harmony and peace, although they are very passionate about politics and they love their king.
Mainly a beach destination, however there is a very diverse culture that is waiting for the traveler to discover.

  What to Do

Bangkok: Plenty of temples and palaces to see. Nightlife is vibrant.

Beaches: There are plenty. Explore, ask around. You can finish up in party island Ko Samui or Ko pang gai, but there are many places waiting to be discovered as or much beautiful that those named before. I went a place called Ko Chang, very near Bangkok by bus and ferry. I will never regret it i had a paradisiacal beach only for my self and 4 or 5 fellow travelers.

  Travel Tips

To move around the city public transportation is great. For traveling and tours sometimes is just more complicated to take the effort of going to the stations, finding out which bus takes you and so on than to just take the organized tour from your hotel. Really. And money wise sometimes is the same. ( I went to the beach with a single ticket. If I had to do it by myself, I would have had to get a bus/tuktuk to the terminal, find out my bus to the ferry station, that there was not I had to take a bus to a road junction and take a tuktuk again. Get the Ferry ticket and cross, once on the other side get a bus to the beach. The money difference was just a couple of dollars)
