Country Highlights
Turkey is the gateway between Asia and
Europe, a mix of 2 different worlds and it had made a great job
satisfying Muslims needs with western culture, although out without
trouble. Turkeys history is as big as history itself and has seen
empires after empires and ruled over a vast territory.

What to Do In Istanbul: Check out the Aya Sofia and the blue mosque, they are impressive. Take a ferry down the Bosphorus, visit the mighty water reservoir and the trains station for the Orient Express. See and visit the Sufi Houses. Sufism is a big movement in this part of Asia, also visit the Grand Bazaar and the Spices bazaar. See the Taksim square and stay there for the night you will be surprise of how many people go out to drink and eat. Getting lost in that city is an adventure in itself, as you walk your way out of the tourists center you discover a whole new world of devoted Muslims, covered woman, and so many impressive and beautiful mosques that you cannot believe all of them get real use. Sunsets are amazing, and the view from
the minarets and the sun fading is truly a view to remember.

| Travel
Tips
Don't be afraid of Turkey, despite having reputation for the movie Midnight train, is far from that view. With a modern transportation system you can get around hassle free with the Tram and buses, even to/from the airport. The Bus for traveling long distances will also satisfy your every demand and the terminal is just like the one you can find in any major capitals country.

Food
lajmashun is like an open meat pie or pizza, and my favorite Turkish food. In some cases the preparation also uses a closed version. In turkey they will generally serve it with lettuce and tomato salad. You will need: For the topping Grounded meat Mix the ingredients altogether and let rest for 10 minutes (the lemon will cook the meat), place the meat mix on top on the dough and distribute evenly. Cook in hot oven for 13 minute |
